How to choose keywords for your site?
In marketing your website you must plan and target the quality and searchable keywords in the search engines. How you are going to do that? You can do that by searching in Google hot trends, the hot news in the world or in the country. There are some paid tools that can be used in choosing the right keywords for your website, like wordtracker.
Wordtracker gives you all information to the latest trends and search and also determine how many people are searching this. You can also use free wordtracker in the seobook. They offer free wordtracker but i prefer the pro wordtracker.
In putting keyword in your website avoid keywords that are too general and specific like business, travel and entertainment. If your site is pretty brand new you can target first the long tailed keywords. Example if you are targeting the travel in the Asia, you can use Asian travel, Asia travel package, and Asia travel cruise. Then if you ranked well in that site you can target a short tail keywords
Next, If you have choosen a good keywords for your website, avoid too spammy and I advised you to put 2 repeated keywords in your pages. The effective way in anchoring the text is putting the title tag in your link pages.You can also put some keywords in the alt tags and also the best in the meta tags.
